Dr Dawn Harris is a consultant forensic and clinical psychologist, and founder of Kedras Clinics.
An associate fellow of the British Psychological Society, and an accredited psychotherapist, Dawn has worked in both the public and private sectors for over 25 years.
Dawn founded and now runs Kedras Clinics, delivering ground-breaking psychology services for adults and children with a focus on the neuroscience of trauma.
Dawn previously co-founded and worked as a psychological lead in a private psychiatric hospital that specialised in working with people with a history of complex trauma. She also developed and currently delivers British Psychological Society (BPS) accredited training to staff within both private and public sector organisations with the aim of creating trauma informed and responsive cultures. She has now expanded this training and is currently working with senior leaders to create organisational transformation using the principles of trauma informed practice.
Dawn centres her clinical practice and training around the neuroscience of trauma and offers neurofeedback treatment. She likes to remain at the cutting edge of mental health treatment, offering people who have experienced trauma the most effective, innovative therapeutic interventions. Dawn is a firm believer in the relational aspect of healing, with a focus on working within a blended framework of neuroscience, somatic-cognitive connection, respect, trust, collaboration, and intuition.
